A couple of inspired Team VIVA! consultants returned to work this morning after a weekend spent in the company of three-time Olympian, Kerri Pottharst, following the launch of a natural pharmacy solution for muscle aches, pains and soft tissue injuries, at the Australian PharmacyProfessional Conference and Trade Exhibition (APP) on the Gold Coast.

The Pharmacy Guild of Australia’s annual national conference is the largest pharmacy conference and trade show in Australia.
The conference offered a comprehensive four-day educational program, a social program and a trade exhibition showcasing the latest products, services and industry innovations.

VIVA! Communications coordinated the launch of FisiocremSOLUGEL, a natural solution for treating common muscular aches and pains and soft tissue trauma, including bumps and bruises resulting from sporting injuries and daily activities, at this years APP.
For years the product has been used by physiotherapist, chiropractors and massage therapists nation-wide, particularly for soft tissue trauma, the most commonly-reported injury in sport.

So our role was to introduce this natural solution for injury management to the pharmacy trade.

Flanked by leading Gold Coast physiotherapist, Brad Beer, Olympic beach volleyballer, Kerri, shared her professional insights into effective injury management for common sporting injuries.

During her presentation, Kerri also discussed the importance of goal setting and explained how she and her former volleyball partner, Natalie Cook, hired a success coach to help them reach the highest pinnacle on the Olympic podium.

Having sustained numerous soft tissue injuries throughout her 22 year-long professional volleyball career, Kerri is an advocate for all things natural and is a huge fan of FisiocremSOLUGEL.

“I’ve experienced many potentially devastating injuries that threatened to end my professional and coaching career.

“While I’ve endured six knee surgeries, I’ve also had many less serious injuries common to many weekend warriors, including soft tissue trauma, muscle soreness, stiffness and inflammation,” said Kerri.
Brad Beer, Queensland Area Director and Managing Director of two bustling ‘Back In Motion’ practices on the Gold Coast (Mermaid Waters and Sorrento), also presented to the pharmacy media attending the briefing, offering his professional advice on soft tissue injuries and the potential benefits of using natural anti-inflammatories. As Brad uses FisiocremSOLUGEL in conjunction with massage and other muscle work to treat patients with a range of soft tissue injuries, it was particularly interesting to get his perspective on the product.

Following the media briefing, Kerri challenged interested bystanders to a game of Wii Fit at the APP2013 Fitness Hub. At the conference, former member of the Oarsome Foursome, the Olympic gold winning Australian men’s rowing crew, Nick Green, challenged Kerri to a game of tennis.

While both got to keep their gold medals, only one emerged as the Wii Fit winner and the winner was Nick.

Thanks for this very interesting post. I have great faith in Physiotherapist because I also have experienced muscle injury and he has treated me. If the leading Gold Coast physiotherapist approves of FisiocremSOLUGEL, then it is really an effective product.
