💛 March into Yellow: raising awareness for endometriosis 💛

This month (March) represents ‘March into Yellow’ Endometriosis Awareness Month, which sheds light on this debilitating female health condition. 💛⭐

And today (March 28, 2026) marks ‘Endo Giving Day’ – a time to take action for those living with endometriosis.

Endometriosis Australia will match every donation made to their organisation today, up to the value of AUD 15,000, to double the support for women living with endometriosis.

Endometriosis is a chronic condition that occurs when tissue, similar to the uterine lining, grows outside of the uterus. It can cause pain, heavy periods, & infertility.

The condition affects 1 in 7 women by the age of 49, making specialist nursing support crucial, especially for women living in rural, remote & regional areas of Australia.

That’s why this year, @Endometriosis Australia is collaborating with the @Australian College of Nursing Foundation (ACNF), to shift the dial on those affected, enabling them to secure the support they require through further education.

The organisations are offering scholarships to support an eligible nurse to undertake the 10-week Endometriosis & Pelvic Pain module delivered by the ACNF.

Nurses often represent the first point of care for those living with endometriosis in rural & remote communities. With diagnosis taking 6.5 years on average, donations can help train nurses to provide crucial support to those affected by the condition.

March into Yellow is a fun and easy way to open up a conversation about the condition and an opportunity for our community to show support & raise funds for Endometriosis Australia who support endometriosis education & research. 🔬

To support March into Yellow, you can wear yellow, fundraise & raise awareness of this invisible illness. 🌻📢
