VIVA’S PR partner in the US, Spectrum Science, worked with Lance Armstrong for five years during his Tour de France victory days. In the lead up to Armstrong’s Oprah interview today, Spectrum’s President, John Seng, voiced his opinion on the matter via CNN.

John raised a timely point in questioning whether the PR industry really needs famous people to help leverage a cause. Alternatively, it may be “safer” to give a voice to the everyday heroes among us, such as the lesser known cancer patient survivors. Watch the full interview below.
