Five tips for keeping your family happy, healthy and active with three-time Olympic volleyballer, Kerri Pottharst
With winter just around the corner, we asked Olympic gold medallist Kerri Pottharst, for advice on how to keep up the active lifestyle during the coming cooler months.
1. Mix it up – Keep exercise interesting by trying different sports. Show your kids how to be good team players.
2. Be a role model – Stay active to encourage your kids to be active.
3. Better still, stay active all-year round. Have a game of Wii Fit in the living room if it’s too cold to head outdoors.
4. Keep it fresh – Head to a fresh fruit and veggie market and encourage each member of the family to pick their own fresh snacks for the week.
5. First aid – Keep a tube of FisiocremSOLUGEL in your first aid kit to provide natural, soothing relief from common muscular aches and pains and soft tissue trauma, including bumps and bruises from sporting injuries and daily activities. It’s perfectly safe for use in children. Always monitor injuries and see a doctor if symptoms persist.
