Team VIVA! are proud sponsors of Nycomed’s resident-cyclist and client, Gabriel Georgy, who is cycling the Gong Ride for an incredible eighth year.

Gabriel will jump on his bike on November 1 for the annual 90km fundraising ride from Sydney to Wollongong.

Gabriel said professional and recreational cyclists join forces for the Gong Ride every year, pedalling in support of people living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS).

“The Gong Ride helps raise funds for people affected by MS – the most common disease of the central nervous system, affecting more than 20,000 Australians,” Gabriel said.

Fundraising efforts in the MS Sydney to the Gong Bike Ride are vital to MS Australia and the people/families living with MS. The Gong Ride is Australia’s biggest fundraiser for people with MS and last year almost $4.1 million was directly fundraised by riders.
